Gardenesque is a family-run business based in the Cotswolds, championing quality craftsmanship, traditional manufacturing techniques, and timeless design. Their garden pots, furniture, and accessories are full of character, rooted in a genuine love of outdoor living.

The Brief
Following a full rebrand, Gardenesque brought me on board ahead of their busy summer season to help put their new tone of voice into practice. Every word had to reflect the brand’s personality: aspirational yet approachable, elegant yet understated, and always warm, grounded, and quietly confident.
The team needed content that felt as considered as their pieces. Editorial-style journal features to inspire and inform, alongside email campaigns carefully tailored to reach different customers at the right moment.

The Result
I partnered with Gardenesque for four months, writing a handful of journal features and a series of email campaigns – each one a chance to bring the new voice to life.
The journal pieces ranged from seasonal design guides to practical how-to features, written to feel like a trusted source of inspiration. The emails – weekly, monthly, and automated flows – were crafted to feel considered and timely, the kind of copy that earns its place in someone's inbox.
